핸드픽트호텔.서울은 2012년부터 3년여의 준비기간을 통해 완성된 공간입니다. 순수 준비기간 1년5개월에 건축기간만 1년7개월이 소요되었습니다. 이 호텔은 제가 태어나고 자라면서 어린 시절을 보낸 집터입니다. 저에게 이곳은 말 그대로 너무나 좋은 기억이 많이 떠오르는 소울플레이스(Soul Place)입니다. 그렇기 때문에 우리 호텔에 묵으시는 여러분께도 이곳, 하면 좋은 기억들이 떠오를 수 있는 소울플레이스가 되면 좋겠다는 생각으로 공간과 물건 하나하나, 음식 하나하나에 느낌을 불어넣기 위해 직원 한명한명이 최선을 다하고 있습니다. 다시 한번 핸드픽트호텔.서울을 이용해주신 고객 여러분께 감사의 인사를 드리면서, 부디 편안한 휴식의 시간이 되시길 바랍니다.

Welcome to Handpicked Hotel Seoul. 

After three years of preparation from 2012, we are finally up and ready to welcome our guests.

It took a year and seven months of planning period, then another year and five months for the construction. This hotel was built on the site where my childhood home had been. Growing up, I had many wonderful childhood memories associated with this neighborhood and I am proud to call it my personal “Soul Place.”  When our guests think of Handpicked Hotel Seoul, I hope it reminds them of the same nostalgic feelings and happy memories made here. Every single staff in this hotel works enthusiastically to make our hotel become the ultimate “Soul Place” for our guests. Thank you for choosing Handpicked Hotel Seoul and hope you enjoy your stay.
